ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- Namco America's Pac-Man Battle Royale Deluxe is now shipping, following a successful preview at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Florida. Namco executives said the first production run of the multiplayer videogame was sold out even before the official unveiling last November.
Operators' collection reports over the past several weeks reportedly place Pac-Man Battle Royale at or near the top of the location against costlier attractions, said the company.
Publicity elements included appearances by the "Pac-Man Power Girls" in locations from Times Square in New York City to San Diego. The game debuted with two days of high-profile launch parties in 20 different Dave & Buster's locations nationwide. | SEE STORY
