LAS VEGAS -- VendEver LLC has named Rick Leffke chief executive. He succeeds Brian Duke in the post.
A longtime consultant to the vending industry, Leffke's responsibilities at VendEver include developing its strategic direction and executing initiatives to following that course, as well as client relations. He brings a solid record of accomplishment to his new post, having worked with a number of global companies including Aramark, AT&T, Van Houtte, Cox Communications and SmartTrust to implement sales strategies, as well as customer relations and client retention models.
Leffke, a Knowledge Source consultant for the National Automatic Merchandising Association, will be headquarter in Dallas
Duke, an industry veteran and cofounder of VendEver, had served as president and chief executive for the past year. The company, which introduced the Cotton Candy Factory vending machine to the coin-operated industry in cooperation with Feiloli Electronics of Taiwan, will continue operating from its Henderson, NV, headquarters. | SEE STORY
"After spending so much time away from my family in Denver and trying to take VendEver from a small Nevada startup to an established force, I felt it was now time for me to step aside and let others take over," Duke said. "It's been an exciting ride, but I can't let life pass me by in the meantime."
