NIAGARA FALLS, ON, Canada -- Apriva plans to exhibit its unattended cashless payment solutions at the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association's Expo 2012 ("The Unconvendtional Show") in Niagara Falls from Sept. 27 through 29. The event will be held at the Scotiabank Convention Centre, and Apriva will exhibit in Booth No. 300.

"There are a number of dynamics occurring in Canada that make cashless vending very appealing to vending operators," said Paul DeRosse, Apriva's vice-president of business development for Canada. "On a macro level, more and more consumers are using credit and debit cards to make small-ticket purchases. On top of this, the combination of fixed interchange rates and EMV technology, which eliminates the requirement for expensive PIN-entry hardware, is resulting in a very profound ROI that is capturing the attention of vending operators across Canada.

"Through our Apriva Vend solution, we are well-positioned to help Canadian operators leverage the numerous business benefits available through cashless technology," DeRosse continued.

Apriva Vend is an end-to-end solution designed to give vending operators the ability to cost-effectively integrate cashless vending into their operations. Through this solution, operators have the ability to substantially improve customer satisfaction, increase operational efficiency and expand sales and profit margins, the company explained.

Apriva Vend's comprehensive service incorporates system hardware and software, wireless connectivity, transaction and alarm reporting capabilities, and integration with leading payment processors and financial institutions.

CAMA was organized in 1953 to advance and promote the vending industry in Canada. Today, it strives to elevate professionalism and leadership in the provision of vending and office coffee services. CAMA is the only association that represents the interests of Canadian operators, machine manufacturers, and product and service suppliers.

Founded in 1999, Apriva is a provider of end-to-end wireless transactions and secure information messaging solutions to meet the exacting security and reliability requirements of financial services providers, government entities, and public service sectors. Founded in 1999, the company presently has two operating groups, Apriva Point of Sale (POS) and Apriva Information Security Systems (ISS).
