AMOA-NY president Ken Goldberg of Emerson Amusement (Woodside, NY) thanked supporters of this year's event. Chief among them were AMI Entertainment Network Inc. and AMI chief executive Mike Maas. "AMI and Mike Maas are true leaders, loyal supporters of AMOA-NY and in touch with the economic challenges that operators face," Goldberg said.
AMOA-NY is made up of amusement machine and jukebox operators from New York City and the surrounding tri-state region suburbs. It held this year's annual dinner at the celebrated Uncle Jack's Steakhouse in midtown Manhattan. Goldberg said that attendance was tremendous, and the emphasis was on having fun and enjoying outstanding food.
The association presented its 2014 Jukebox Artist of the Year Award to singer-songwriter Judy Collins, who praised jukebox operators. | SEE STORY
