MONTCLAIR, CA -- New in Vertex's PureWaterCooler line is the PWC-8900, a premium three-temperature, bottleless system. The new water cooler has a built-in icemaker that can make up to 13 lbs. of ice a day.
The PWC-8900 boasts a water storage capacity of 2.7-gal., considered large for a bottleless cooler. It uses an existing water source to produce a continuous supply of clean water for offices of up to 50 people.
According to Vertex, the cooler's tall cabinet design and spigot height, along with the large 10" high opening, make filling bottles and mugs easier. It comes with a flat top that is convenient for placing coffee brewers or storing cups and utensils.
The PWC-8900 is offered with two filter options. Reverse-osmosis filtration removes an average 95% of the TDS, including minerals that cause scale deposits in coffeemakers and other fixtures. Standard carbon filtration takes out chlorine taste and odor. The filter cartridges are accessible from the front door.
Easy-to-use touch-sensor dispensing buttons and a recessed faucet are designed to withstand years of use and eliminate hand contact for better hygiene, Vertex said. The 8900's cabinet is built with a steel subframe and side panels, ABS front and top covers, and a high-impact appliance finish that's easy to clean and keep looking like new.
