RENO, NV -- GameTech International Inc., a supplier of electronic bingo and video lottery terminals, said it has entered into a licensing agreement for VLT content for the Illinois Video Gaming market with American Gaming Systems.

Under terms of the agreement, AGS will have access to five game titles from GameTech's library of poker, keno, line-up and blackjack games for exclusive use in the Illinois video lottery market. AGS also will have the opportunity to license additional titles as they become available. | SEE RELEASE

The Illinois market for VLTs was created by law in 2009, but has experienced a series of delays and political controversies. Supporters now hope the VLT sector can go live in 2012, but Gov. Pat Quinn has called for an "opt-in" strategy that would require every jurisdiction to re-vote on whether or not to permit the devices. | SEE STORY
