Frito-Lay Revitalizes Iconic Cracker Jack Brand

Cracker Jack, Frito-Lay PLANO, TX –The iconic Cracker Jack brand is celebrating its 120th year with 21st century prizes, more peanuts and two new flavors.

Now available nationwide from PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division are Cracker Jack Kettle Corn popcorn, with a sweet and savory flavor profile, and Cracker Jack Butter Toffee popcorn. Both are offered in 4-oz. and 8.5-oz. sizes. Additionally, Cracker Jack Original caramel-coated popcorn and peanut snacks in 4-oz. and 8-oz. sizes now contain more peanuts.

Contemporary Cracker Jack prizes with new digital tie-ins include classic stickers with fun facts and codes that offer surprises online. And a new Cracker Jack-branded mobile app, featuring baseball and pinball games is available free for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch mobile devices and all Android devices at crackerjackapp.com.

Earlier this month, Frito-Lay launched Cracker Jack'D snacks, made with "intense flavors" and targeted at millennial male consumers.

The original blend of caramel-coated popcorn and peanuts was introduced in 1893 by F.W. Rueckheim at the World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago's first world's fair.
