DALLAS -- Peter Gustafson is exiting LAI Games and will rejoin Sega Amusements USA as U.S. general manager. Gustafson managed LAI's U.S. office here for three years. The 30-year industry veteran, who began his coin-op career at Bally Pinball, previously worked at Sega, which is based in his home state of Illinois.
"Pete was a valuable employee who contributed greatly to [LAI's] success in the U.S. market, and we are all sorry to see him go," said LAI Games chief executive Alan Freimuth. Gustafson will remain with LAI until mid-September.
As general manager at Sega, Gustafson will oversee the develop teams that create "market-appropriate product" and supervise the company's North and South American sales and marketing activities.
