CHICAGO -- A story in the Feb. 14 edition of The Wall Street Journal saluted married couples who are also business partners. The feature highlighted Richard Ditton and Elaine Hodgson, the cofounders Incredible Technologies Inc. who remained business partners despite their divorce and her remarriage to a senior IT executive.

The paper recounted IT's rapid rise from 1985 startup to 1989 powerhouse with the development of signature games like Golden Tee Golf. It also recounted their 1997 separation and subsequent divorce, and the amazing maturity of all three executives in remaining on good terms in the workplace.

"Because each kept the peace, the company kept growing," the WSJ concluded.

The Arlington Heights, IL, company employs 135 people and reportedly generates just under $50 million in annual revenue. The videogame company’s expansion into casino and route gaming machines is expected to grow revenues.
