PHILADELPHIA -- Aramark completed its acquisition of the Filterfresh office coffee service business from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. on Oct. 3. The Philadelphia-based dining and refreshment services giant announced the $145 million all-cash deal in August. | SEE STORY
Filterfresh is the OCS arm of Canadian roasting giant Van Houtte, which Waterbury, VT-based Green Mountain acquired last December. It serves more than 71,000 locations in most major North American cities. Aramark's Philadelphia-based refreshment services division currently provides breakroom service to some 100,000 locations nationwide.

"We believe the combination of expertise will provide existing customers even more value and satisfaction and look forward to attracting new customers with our breadth of quality services and products."
