CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association has promoted LyNae Schleyer to vice-president of meetings and events.
Schleyer is now responsible for the development of the OneShow and Coffee, Tea and Water, NAMA's two main events, and will support regional and state meetings. She will continue to serve as a liaison between the association and its education programs.
"This well-deserved promotion is in recognition of LyNae's nearly 20 years of valued contributions at NAMA, of her acumen in directing this key program area," said NAMA president and chief executive Carla Balakgie. "She was instrumental in the development of our industry's largest trade show, the OneShow, and her involvement is a big reason for the event's continued growth and success."
Schleyer began her career at NAMA as manager of meeting services and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including director of education for 10 years.
