AAMA Sets 2010 Confab, Distributor Bash Near O’Hare Airport In July

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- The American Amusement Machine Association has announced that its 2010 annual meeting will be held at the Hilton Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, IL, from July 27 through 30. The resort is situated about 30 minutes west of Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
Tuesday, July 27 will be devoted to an Amusement Expo show meeting. AAMA committee meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, July 28, to be followed by a festive welcome dinner. On Thursday, AAMA will conduct its annual membership meeting, after which the board of directors will meet. Climaxing the event will be the Distributor Cocktail Gala on Thursday evening and, on Friday, AAMA’s charity golf outing.
Indian Lakes Resort occupies 260 acres and offers 308 oversized guest rooms, two restaurants, two golf courses, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, three lighted tennis courts, a full-service spa, and facilities for sand volleyball and 18 holes of miniature golf.
Founded in 1981, AAMA is an international nonprofit trade organization representing manufacturers, distributors and part suppliers involved in the coin-operated amusement industry. A board of directors, selected by its members, governs association and committee work with staff to develop programs that promote and protect the industry. David Cohen, chief executive of Firestone Financial Corp., is the association's chairman. John Schultz is president.
