DALLAS -- CFL International LLC has developed a novel "ecological" 3- and 5-gal. prefilled bottled water vending machine. It was unveiled at the recent National Association of Convenience Stores trade show in Atlanta by SandenVendo America Inc., which is manufacturing the machine here.
Called the aquablubox, the large machine gives customers round-the-clock access to bottled water. It also can receive empty bottled returned by customers. Since it requires no store employees to sell, stock, or inventory the large bottles of water, it will enable store owners
to cut operational overhead, according to the manufacturer. See model options here.
CFL International, based in Las Vegas, reports that its founders have more than 30 years' combined experience in the bulk bottled water industry, and developed the aquablubox in response to the need they saw for an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional home delivery operations.
SandenVendo America, an international leader in the design and manufacture of electronically controlled high-capacity chilled beverage machines and foodservice equipment, is a subsidiary of Sanden Corp. (Tokyo, Japan). It is headquartered in Dallas and has more than 40 offices worldwide.
