Amusement Expo, Foundations Entertainment University To Collaborate on Encore Program At 2013 Show In Vegas

CHICAGO, September 14, 2012 -- The American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA), the Amusement & Music Operators Association (AMOA) and Foundations Entertainment University (FEU) are pleased to announce an alliance has been formed again, whereby FEU will direct a special education program aimed at the family entertainment center (FEC) segment of the trade on the eve of the March 20-22, 2013, Amusement Expo in Las Vegas, NV.

Earlier this year, FEU launched a pre-Expo program for the first time at the Amusement Expo in March, and now, it is looking forward to developing an encore package of panels and presentations in conjunction with next year's show.

"FEU is excited to partner with the Amusement Expo again to offer FEC owners and managers a compelling learning experience, tied together with the industry's premier spring event," said Jerry Merola of Amusement Entertainment Management and a principal of the FEU organization.

"Since the first Foundations launch at Expo this past spring, our focus has been on how we can grow and improve it and we're confident it will indeed be bigger and better next March," said Pete Gustafson of SEGA Amusements, who serves as Chairman of the Show, which is co-owned by AAMA and AAMA.

Currently, the plan is for the FEC-oriented curriculum to be conducted on Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, using the formula of topics and speakers that has been successfully implemented by the FEU team during the past nine years.

FEU will also work with the Amusement Expo in developing any FEC-themed seminars as part of its FREE seminar sessions to be conducted on Wednesday morning, March 20, 2012, prior to the opening of exhibit hours that afternoon.

FEU and the Amusement Expo will also collaborate with the show management firm, W.T. Glasgow Inc. to market and promote the respective educational offerings to be held next spring.
