Green Mountain Taps Paul O'Brien To Lead Asia Pacific Business; Geoffrion Retires

WATERBURY, VT -- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. has named Paul D. O'Brien president of its Asia Pacific business.

O'Brien comes to the Waterbury, VT, roaster from Sara Lee Corp., where he was managing director of the Kitchens of Sara Lee Pty. Ltd. in Australia. He also has served in executive posts in various Asia Pacific regions for other U.S. companies, including Kellogg Co., where he was director of strategy and business development for its Asia Pacific business.

Separately, Green Mountain announced that its current president of international business development, Gerard Geoffrion, will retire at the end of 2014. He was Van Houtte's president and chief executive before GMCR acquired it in December 2010.
