ON TOUR:Jersey Jack Pinball has taken its new The Wizard of Oz flipper games on the road to gauge player reaction to final preproduction design.
In photo, Jersey Jack’s Drew Maniscalco (l.) looks on as eager coin-op aficionados line up to try the game at recent New York Comic Con pop-culture celebration in early October. Jersey Jack reports that hundreds of people played WoZ during Comic Con’s four-day run, and it drew much favorable media attention.
Next stop for The Wizard of Oz roadshow was The 2012 Pinball Expo at Westin Hotel in Wheeling, IL, a week later. The final stop on the pinball tour before WoZ production begins is the IAAPA Attractions Expo in mid-November in Orlando, FL.
