VERNON HILLS, IL -- Incredible Technologies has announced that its PowerPutt Live 2013, which rolled out in March to general acclaim, is receiving a software patch that extends its ability to encourage social interaction. After loading the patch, the game can accommodate as many as eight players at one time.
PowerPutt Live 2013, a coin-op videogame, offers five challenging new courses and a variety of new game features. With its original program, it allows up to four players to participate in a game.
"The casual mini-golf theme, skill-based format and fast gameplay are proving to be the perfect mix for large groups," said IT sales vice-president Don Pesceone. "Smart operators across the country are working with their locations to create weekly PowerPutt leagues, couples nights and other engaging PowerPutt promotions. These types of events are easy to run and guarantee repeat, long-term gameplay."
The manufacturer reports that PowerPutt Live 2013 also is fully compatible with FACTS (Free Automated Contest and Tournament Software) and AdWiz, which gives ITNet operators the ability to create advertisement screens and install them on their online PowerPutt Live machines to promote contests and location events.
PowerPutt Live 2013 "Play Here" posters now are available for download, and IT's powerputtgolf.com website informs operators of the latest news and events.
