LAI Games New Releases IAAPA 2012

DALLAS -- LAI Games introduced five games at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, FL. Making their debut were Balloon Buster, a carnival-themed prize merchandiser; Mega-Spin, a multi-wheel redemption piece; Little Speedy, a compact version of LAI Games' popular Speed of Light reaction-challenging redemption game; Toy Zone Crane, a premium multisensory prize crane; and Stacker Wall Street, a wall-mounted stacker for locations with limited space.

Balloon Buster vends prizes suspended from balloons, five of which reside inside the display case. A prize is dispensed when a player is skillful enough to maneuver a dart through a hole to pop the balloon. The simple, quick-play action encourages repeat attempts. Balloon Buster also attracts attention with its vintage-styled cabinet graphics and carnival-barker voice track. Operators can select either global or individual prize adjustment settings.

Mega Spin features "three wheels in one," each of which offers the chance to win higher ticket values than the previous one. Play begins by spinning the innermost wheel; if it stops at a space with an arrow, the player is offered the choice of taking the winnings or risking them by moving to the next wheel to try for more. Success on both inner wheels again results in the choice of accepting the payout or moving on to the outermost wheel in the hope of scoring the mega-ticket jackpot. Styled to command attention, the futuristic Mega Spin cabinet stands 8 ft. high.

Little Speedy is designed primarily for children, who are challenged to turn off the lit buttons as quickly as they can to amass points and win tickets. It features a brightly colored cabinet and friendly voice announcements inviting patrons to test their reaction time. Simple, entertaining gameplay encourages repeat patronage, LAI explained.

Also themed to the younger set is Toy Zone Crane, LAI Games' new premium crane featuring a steel and tempered-glass cabinet with appealing plush artwork, advanced LED illumination and a catchy music track. It offers multiple operator settings and is secured with a sturdy three-point locking system.

Stacker Wall Street is a wall-mounted stacker game designed for locations with limited floor space such as bars, clubs and hotel lobbies. It boasts a durable steel and tempered-glass cabinet, engaging illumination and sound effects, and the appeal of stacker play.

LAI Games USA is a subsidiary of Leisure and Allied Industries (Perth, Australia).
