FORT WAYNE, IN -- A well-known figure in the bulk vending industry, Judi Heston-Donnell has joined Funtastic Novelties Inc. as an account executive. In her new post, she will represent the Fort Wayne, IN-based company's toy and prize lines in national accounts, which include skating rinks, bowling centers and family entertainment centers, among other venues.
Heston-Donnell is also president of the National Bulk Vendors Association, an elected position she's held since March 2014. She comes to Funtastic from Theisen Vending Co. (Golden Valley, MN), where she had worked for 16 years.
"We're so excited to have Judi onboard. She brings with her 15 years of experience in the novelty industry," said Funtastic founder Kris Wall Friesner. "Her vast experience and knowledge will prove invaluable as we enter new markets."
Established in 1993, Funtastic originally specialized in supplying toys to roller skating facilities; Friesner's family owned a skating center, where she had worked -- and learned about the business -- at an early age. Today, Funtastic's broader customer base includes all types of amusement facilities, along with route operations.
