LOS ANGELES – Jammin' Java Corp. has signed a distribution deal with First Choice Coffee Services, one of the largest OCS providers on the West Coast and in the nation.
Under terms of the agreement, First Choice will install 1,000 Marley Coffee-branded single-cup brewers in the first year. Jammin' Java's Marley Coffee, which is available in both pods and fraction packs for the office coffee service market in several varieties, pays tribute to reggae legend Bob Marley. Rohan Marley, the artist's son, is Jammin' Java chairman.
The companies estimate that the 1,000 machines will translate to approximately $2.5 million in pods sales on an annualized basis once they are installed.
The deal gives First Choice preferred vendor distribution rights in the OCS market for San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Nevada, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, Denver, Dallas and Houston.
Marley Coffee will become First Choice's leading brand at trade shows, on its website, in advertising and during office demonstrations.
First Choice Coffee Services, based in Downey, CA, serves thousands of clients throughout California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Arizona. It has expaned its services nationally with branch offices in Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan.
