CHICAGO -- Dr. Bonnie J. Knutson, a faculty member for the National Automatic Merchandising Association's Executive Development Program, was honored with MSU's Distinguished Faculty Award.
Knutson, a professor in The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University (Lansing), was one of 10 MSU faculty members who were honored on Feb. 14. The Distinguished Faculty Award recognizes a comprehensive and sustained record of scholarly excellence in research, creative activities, instruction and outreach.
"Knutson shares her expertise in areas of emerging consumer lifestyle trends, customer service, brand positioning and strategic marketing related to the hospitality industry with senior-level leaders in vending, coffee service and foodservice who enroll in the EDP program," said NAMA executive vice-president and chief operating officer Dan H. Mathews.
The program is designed for key decision-makers in areas of finance, marketing, operations and human resource management.
NAMA's next MSU Education Development Program runs from Oct. 21 to 25 (Sunday to Thursday).
