LOUISVILLE, KY -- john conti Gourmet Coffee Co. has announced the promotion of two Louisville-based staff members.
Scott Allgood advances to the post of outside sales representative, responsible for acquiring new business. He has worked with the john conti organization since 2004.
Rebecca Sparrow becomes office manager and assistant controller in the company's Louisville headquarters, and will be in charge of operations management here. She joined john conti Gourmet Coffee in 2005.
Company founder John Conti observed that the organization has a history of "growing its team from within."
Founded in 1962 in Louisville and a pioneer in the office coffee service business, john conti Gourmet Coffee has become the region's largest roaster of specialty high-grown arabica coffees, roasting more than 1.5 million pounds annually.
