ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions has announced the addition of three executives to the ranks of its international management.
Stephanie Robert is appointed vice-president, membership and marketing services. She joins IAAPA from the Association for Convenience and Fuels Retailing (NACS, originally the National Association of Convenience Stores), where she was director of marketing and communications. In her new post, she will be based at IAAPA headquarters and will serve as liaison to the Family Entertainment Center and Membership Committees.
Brian Skepton has been named advertising and sponsorship sales executive for Funworld magazine, IAAPA's digital and online products, and publications related to the association's trade shows around the world. He brings extensive publishing experience to his new post, having held positions with ABC National News Programming, Adweek, Springer Science+Business Media and the American Psychiatric Association. He also headquarters in the Alexandria, VA, office.
Jessica Yan becomes exhibit and membership sales executive for the IAAPA Asia Pacific Office. In this post, she will promote and sell exhibit space to the Asia/Pacific market for the association's three international trade shows, the Asian Attractions Expo, Euro Attractions Expo and the IAAPA Attractions Expo. She comes to IAAPA from Hong Kong's Ocean Park, where she served as assistant operations manager for food and beverage. Yan is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She will headquarter in Hong Kong.
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions was organized in 1918, and is the largest international trade group representing site-based amusement facilities and attractions. It maintains offices in Brussels, Mexico City and Hong Kong.
