LAS VEGAS -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association is encouraging OneShow-goers to make time to attend its Gratitude Event on the campus of the University of Nevada (Las Vegas). The mobile vending exhibit will be held a day before the kickoff of the vending show, on Tues., April 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union courtyard.
NAMA's OneShow takes place April 25-27 at the Venetian Hotel and adjacent Sands Expo and Convention Center.
More than 10,000 students are expected to attend the UNLV event, which will feature vending machine displays, product giveaways and entertainment.
Last fall, as part of the NAMA's Industry Growth Strategy, the vending association took 20 vending machines on the road for a five-week, seven-city Gratitude Tour as a way to say "thank you" to loyal vending machine users. NAMA hailed the campaign's success at capturing consumer attention and educating the public about the new technologies, products and the convenience and variety that today's vending machines offer.
"Since then, we have looked for ways to share that unique experience with our members," said NAMA. "That's why we are excited to host a Gratitude Event in conjunction with this year's OneShow. This is your opportunity to experience firsthand a Gratitude Event and take part in the NAMA Industry Growth Strategy."
