LITHONIA, GA -- A&M Equipment Sales has launched a novel service for vending operators: a series of podcasts dealing with a variety of subjects interesting to vending managers.
Each Vending Business Show podcast is a 10-minute interview on a nuts-and-bolts topic -- organizing warehouse space and delivery vehicles, marketing at individual machines and providing post-sale care to new and existing clients, among other themes. They are available for download from A&M's blog site. Go to:

"We believe the Vending Business Show is the first of its kind," said Joe Nichols, owner of A&M. "Any vendor can download our podcasts and in 10 minutes or less learn from industry experts how to service customers, build loyalty and increase revenues. They can download in the evening and listen as they travel to customer sites, so there's no downtime for the education."
Nichols said the specific industry expertise covered in the program would normally cost thousands of dollars to operators.
A&M Equipment Sales has been a family-owned and operated business for more than 40 years. Originally an operating company, it now is a distributor of new vending equipment, currency changers and condiment stands, as well as a service center and dealer in used machines, with an international clientele.
