BRISTOL, PA -- New from AMI Entertainment Network Inc. is a jukebox website update that will allow operators to track the revenue being brought in by AMI's Bar Link mobile application.
Bar Link, introduced earlier this year for the iPhone, allows patrons to interact with their favorite jukebox locations over their mobile phones and to purchase song plays without leaving their seats. | SEE STORY
The new AMI website update makes it possible for operators to track the revenue generated by Bar Link independently of other jukebox revenue. This will help quantify the effect of the mobile application on the overall business.
AMI explained that this mobile revenue information is available on the jukebox itself, by accessing the service menu and selecting Money Collection. This will display mobile revenue as a separate category. Now mobile earnings can be tracked on the operator website, accessible to subscribers at amientertainment.net.
The website also has been updated to provide faster load times, AMI reported. This will be especially helpful to operators managing a large number of machines. And the site now offers full support for the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 browser.
