PHILADELPHIA – Flower's Foods Inc.'s Tastykake brand is joining forces with Hershey Co. to introduce Kandy Bar Kakes, a blend of cake and Hershey's iconic candy flavors.
The snack cakes come in three flavors: S'mores, made with Hershey's cocoa; Reese's peanut butter; and York peppermint patty. The 2.1-oz. individually wrapped bars retail for $1.70, and 5-ct. multi-packs are also available for mass merchandisers, supermarkets and convenience stores.
"Hershey's brand recognition, along with the renowned freshness and deliciousness of Tastykake, will ensure Kandy Bar Kakes become family favorites," said Brent Bradshaw, vice-president of marketing for Flowers Foods cake brands.
