CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association reports that its 2014 OneShow is shaping up to be the largest to date. Registration is now open for the event, which will be held April 9-11 at Chicago's McCormick Place Lakeside Center.
A series of workshops and seminars presented by industry leaders will focus on micromarket best practices, technological advancements and legislation impacting vending operators, among other timely topics.
Strutting their stuff at the annual exhibition will be the latest products, equipment, tools and technologies for vending, coffee service, foodservice and micromarket operations.

Separately, NAMA is encouraging its members to nominate their peers for its 2014 industry awards. Candidates must exhibit a history of service to their communities and to the industry through efforts with NAMA and state associations. They must be innovative, possess a willingness to expand conventional practices and demonstrate consistent ethical business standards in accordance with NAMA's code of ethics.
Nominations are open for Vending Operator of the Year, Coffee Service Operator of the Year, Allied Member of the Year (vending), Allied Member of the Year (coffee) and Industry Person of the Year.
The deadline to submit nominations at the NAMA website is Feb. 3.
