GOLDEN VALLEY, MN -- Falgas Amusement Rides, a manufacturer of coin-operated kiddie rides, has named Theisen Vending Co. as its North American distributor.
Founded in 1960, Falgas Comercial S.L. of Girona, Spain, is a leading manufacturer of rides and attractions, with more than 100 models suitable for locations ranging from supermarkets and department stores to family entertainment centers, arcades and amusement parks.
Several industry awards programs have recognized the company's rides. Most recently, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions presented one of its Brass Rings to Falgas for the 4x4 Safari Car. The use of LED technology, multiple-motion systems, video and interactive play are common features included in Falgas equipment.
Theisen Vending Co., also founded in 1960, is the nation's largest kiddie ride supplier. It has represented several prestigious European kiddie lines, including Photo-Me International's Jolly Roger, and produces its own rides. The company also is a service provider in the amusement and full-line and bulk vending segments. It is based at 2335 Nevada Ave. North, Golden Valley, MN 55427.
