LAS VEGAS -- The National Bulk Vendors Association (Phoenix) is organizing three timely and informative seminars for the association's annual convention and exhibition, which will be collocated with the 2011 Amusement Expo.
The events are scheduled for March 1 through 3 at the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center.
On Tuesday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., Dax Logue of Brand Vending Products (Scottsdale, AZ) will present an update on the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the NBVA's efforts to work within the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008.
On the same day, Logue's presentation will be followed by a hard-hitting seminar on commissions entitled "42% Commission -- Shoot Yourself in the Foot," conducted by Allan Pollock of Aftica Vend (Ridgeway, ON, Canada) from 11 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
On Wednesday, March 2, Steve Schechner of Capital Vending & Distributing (Florence, AL) leads a seminar called "Profit, Profit, Profit -- Additional Techniques to Grow Your Business," from 11 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
"It's only three seminars this year, but they're very valuable seminars," said Schechner, who heads the NBVA's Convention Seminar Committee. "As always, operators should make a point to attend all three, if possible. These are real-world issues and ways of solving them."
