Smart Industries' Mike Smith Dies

DES MOINES, IA -- Mike Smith, a longtime sales executive for Smart Industries, died here on May 20th. He was 59.
Smith joined the Smart team in April, 1992, and attained the position of vice-president of sales. He retired in March 2006. He had been undergoing treatment for Lou Gehrig's Disease for several years.
