ROARING FORK VALLEY, CO -- Operator Bruce Bauldridge of Aspen Amusement Services died on June 1 following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 70.

Bauldridge provided a friendly but feisty voice for operators’ interests on many issues throughout his career. He served as president of the Valley National 8-Ball League Association about 20 years ago. Local press outlets described him as a “good, kind man” who enjoyed helping friends and neighbors.

Bauldridge was born in Gary, IN, on Feb. 7, 1942, and married Diane Harrington in 1978. They moved to Roaring Fork Valley, CO, later that year and started Aspen Amusement.

He is survived by his wife Diane, son Noah and daughter Amanda.
