Kraft is adding some zest to its Wheat Thins offering with a new sundried tomato and basil offering.
The 1.75-oz. vending package has 17g. of whole grains per serving, enough to fulfill one of the three daily whole-grain quotas recommended by nutritionists. The baked-cracker snacks have 0g. of trans fat and no high-fructose corn syrup.
They are made with whole-wheat flour, wheat germ, rosemary, basil and sundried tomatoes. Kraft said the new Wheat Thins will appeal to both men and women looking for a bold taste in the whole-grain "better-for-you" category.
