April 5, 2005: Steve Blattspieler Memorials Planned; HBI Renews Exclusive Rowe Relationship

L.A. SERVICE, CHICAGO GATHERING ARE PLANNED FOR BLATTSPIELER

TORRANCE, CA - Two services are being planned for the late Steve Blattspieler, an executive of Andamiro, who passed away Sunday from pancreatic cancer. A memorial will take place Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 PM at the White & Day Mortuaries, 901 Torrance Blvd., Redondo Beach, CA 90277; tel. (310) 792-7575. The Blattspieler family (including sister Terri, son Jason and daughter Megan) will be present and have invited friends and colleagues to attend. Friends of the departed industry icon are also planning an informal service in Chicago for early May. Details will be announced as soon as they are available. ROWE AND H. BETTI INDUSTRIES EXTEND EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION RELATIONSHIP

GRAND RAPIDS, MI , Rowe International president Jeff Martin and H. Betti Industries president Bob Geschine have announced an exclusive distribution agreement between Rowe and Betson Enterprises, HBI's distribution unit. In each market where Rowe designates Betson as the exclusive distributor of Rowe jukeboxes, Betson has confirmed its commitment to handle the Rowe line on an exclusive basis. Geschine said the agreement includes northern Virginia through Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the six New England states to the Canadian border. Other exclusive markets include California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii.
