NOTTINGHAM, PA -- New from Herr Foods is a chip line inspired by the ever-popular baked potato. Kettle-cooked Loaded Baked Potato chips taste like baked potatoes with a medley of the most popular toppings: cheddar cheese, sour cream, bacon and green onions.
The company reports that the new chips are made from fine potatoes, sliced thicker and cooked in small batches using pure vegetable oil to impart greater crispness and thus a more durable crunch.
Herr's Loaded Baked Potato Kettle Cooked potato chips are offered in 17/8- oz. bags, shipped 24 per case. An 8-oz. size also is available.
Founded 65 years ago in Lancaster, PA, Herr Foods remains family-owned and operated. It employs 1,500 people and produces some 340 snack products that are sold around the world.
