BENSALEM, PA -- AMI Entertainment Network is launching a "do-it-yourself" promotional tool that allows unsigned independent artists to add their music to AMI's digital jukeboxes. The program, called Musicati, was developed by AMI and Circone + Associates, a creative agency, to bring new music and revenue streams to the AMI network and its operators.

At Musicati.com, indie bands can upload their music, build profiles and use various promotional tools to create a presence on the jukebox network. They pay a fee to create accounts -- but AMI also awards the fledgling artists the same royalties it pays to major-label bands.

"Musicati strengthens the AMI music catalog, brings new bands to the network and attracts new fans to the jukebox to seek out and listen to the music they love," AMI explained.
