RALEIGH, NC -- Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC, the largest privately held bottler and distributor of Pepsi-Cola products in North America, has appointed Paul Finney president and chief executive.
Finney succeeds Keith Reimer, who retired in December. He previously served as PBV's senior vice-president of sales and marketing since 2006. PBV reported that during Finney's six years with the company, it increased revenue by 41% and expanded its footprint from five to eight states.
Prior to joining PBV, Finney spent 17 years with Pepsi-Cola North America in a variety of roles, including vice-president of sales at SoBe. He was also vice-president and general manager in southern California, Texas and New York. Before joining Pepsi, Finney worked at Nestlé.
Founded in 1943, PBV is a joint venture between Suntory International and PepsiCo. It operates 27 bottling and distribution facilities, serving more than 9 million consumers in parts of North Carolina, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Vermont, Idaho and South Carolina.
