BUFFALO, NY -- Barron Games International, which arrived on the American coin-op scene about two years ago with redemption air hockey tables and children's amusements, is readying three new products slated for rollout this fall.
Leading off is Bolt, the second generation in the company's redemption air hockey table line. It's lighter and more durable than its predecessors and features a sleek fluorescent yellow powder-coat finish, as well as blue LEDs along the puck releases and chasing LEDs around the playfield's perimeter. Also featured are side-sound sensors, a scratch-free polycarbonate playfield and lockable cashboxes with single key entries. It ships with 10 pucks, four rubber-grip mallets and polish. Ticket-dispensing equipment is standard.
Jungle Hoki Baby is an update to Barron's Hoki Baby children's air hockey table. It has the same safety features as the original: two large side panels that prevent fingers from being placed on the air hockey table and a center safeguard that eliminates puck deflection. The table's jungle animal graphics and a congratulatory exclamation of "Bravo!" in the sound package add appeal for young players.
Barron's new kiddie ride is Coconut Tree Swing. It looks like a life-size palm tree, has coconut-shaped seats that hang from branches and revolves like a carousel. The kiddie ride has a padded floor mat for safety.
