TUCSON, AZ -- Vending Supply reports that flat-merchandise vending operators can now order products online at the company's enhanced website. The new e-commerce capabilities were activated today.
"It's a feature our customers have been asking for," said senior account manager Heather Gacey. Vending Supply has always provided an online order form, but prices were not listed and completing the order required a phone call.
"For customers who enjoy a more personal touch, Vending Supply is still just a phone call away," Gacey reported. "But for those who prefer to order online, our new website gives operators more options and much more flexibility."
In addition to simplifying the ordering process for online shoppers, Vending Supply is changing its shipping policy. It now costs a maximum of $1 a box to any address within the continental United States.
"It's all part of our new program, Partnership Points," according to Melissa Mouradian, a member of the Vending Supply business development and marketing team. "We want to reward those customers who have been loyal to us by providing a price structure that demonstrates our commitment to their growth."
The new website is designed to keep track of customers' orders, whether placed by telephone or online. Under the loyalty program, points are awarded for each purchase; customers enjoy progressively lower prices as their points balance grows.
The new online ordering application prompts customers to create an account to establish a profile. The account profile features a digital meter that displays the customer's point level, which ranges from one to 10; it also shows the pricing structure, order history and shipping information, among other data related to the customer. As customers reach higher order volumes, prices decrease accordingly.
Vending Supply's new website also boasts a redesigned interface. On the homepage, for example, the company will publish information on promotions and new releases. And it has more than a dozen new flat vending items available this month. They include scented and skin-safe tattoos, new colors in the Sugar and Glitter lines, and the Avengers stickers, which are part of the Marvel license, along with Scooby-Doo, Tweety and the Tasmanian Devil in the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes series.
In addition to lower prices on the company's stickers and tattoos, the program offers customers free shipping on orders of 10 boxes or more all year long, without having to wait for a sale or a coupon.
The website, vendingsupply.com, is immediately accessible to Vending Supply customers who have ordered during the past year. Customers' email addresses are all that's needed to log in and find points waiting in their accounts. Any new account created before March 31 will receive 1,000 bonus points just for signing up.
