PORTLAND, OR -- VendNext said it plans to reveal its secret vending-related product at the NAMA OneShow in Chicago next spring. The company has created a waitlist for operators who want first dibs at purchasing it.
VendNext originally had a teaser website with countdown clock until its launch and a form to sign up for email updates. It reportedly received thousands of visits and email submissions from interested parties, prompting the company to establish a waitlist for its product.
There is a $99 charge to be on the "VIP operator" waitlist. In return, these operators will be among the first to obtain the product at launch and receive a $250 credit towards any purchase. If VIP operators choose not to participate after the product is revealed, the company will provide a refund of 110% of the fee.
The waitlist is available only for operators of vending machines. Other interested parties and operators who prefer to wait and see can still sign up for no charge to receive email updates.
VendNext was founded by Paresh Patel, who operates Portland, OR-based Courtesy Vending. He also created VendScreen, a maker of a multifunction touchscreen user interface for vending machines.
"VendNext is working on something very exciting. And it's all from the perspective of the operator. It's what operators need," Patel said. "We're so confident that operators will like what we have to offer that we're willing to back it with a 110% refund guarantee."
