PepsiCo Gives NAMA $1 Million

Tom Reynolds CHICAGO -- PepsiCo Foodservice is committing $1 million to the National Automatic Merchandising Association, the trade group said. The contribution, to be allocated to the association over five years, will support NAMA's Positioning for Growth campaign.

PepsiCo Foodservice vice-president Tom Reynolds said that the beverage and snack giant is particularly interested in reinforcing NAMA's position as an authoritative voice in vending, and the "driver of thought leadership in such areas as channel research, education and government affairs."

Reynolds, who is a member of NAMA's board of directors, serves on the association's National Steering Committee for Positioning for Growth and chairs the Industry Growth Strategy Committee.

NAMA president and chief executive Carla Balakgie said PepsiCo is the first association member to support the Positioning for Growth campaign with a $1 million contribution.
