EAST LONGMEADOW, MA -- Paul F. Bartolucci, known as "P Bart," who worked for decades at Aramark, died on Feb. 9 here. He was 74.
Bartolucci was born in Springfield, MA, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 to 1964 following high school.
The industry veteran spent 43 years at Aramark where he served as director of vending operations before retiring. Bartolucci also was employed for 39 years as an overnight supervisor by the Springfield Republican.
"I've known Paul for over 40 years -- from back when vending was fun," said Ed Jones, formerly of Maple Hill Farms and Advanced Vending. "He was tough, but always professional. I have great memories of the many softball games between ARA employees and the Maple Hill gang."
He is survived by his wife Sara; son Stephen Bartolucci; two daughters, Nicole Spring and her husband Stephen II and Gina Mongeon and her husband Dennis; and grandchildren Nico, Alexism, Adalyn and Olivia. He was predeceased by his first wife of 44 years, Joan L. (Landry) Bartolucci.
