Dunk Tank Prize

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- Since the introduction of Namco America Inc.'s Dunk Tank Prize game, operators have been finding creative new uses for its flexible design to merchandise the piece advantageously, according to NAI marketing coordinator Sam Ven.

Dunk Tank Prize is designed around shelves that can be configured differently to accommodate a variety of prize merchandise -- as few as four shelves, or as many as six. The shelves are spacious enough to hold multiple prizes, rather than just one. The game is 43" wide x 34" deep, and stands 75.5" high.

The player uses two buttons to move a plunger over one of three prize holes. If positioned correctly, the plunger will drop through the hole to activate a "dunk switch" which, in turn, frees the platform to dunk the premium into the prize bin.

"Theming each shelf with related prizes is definitely an eye-catcher," Ven reported. "Most instant redemption machines can only hold a single item for each play zone, due to the way the prizes are displayed. With Dunk Tank Prize's shelf display system, along with its large prize compartment, an operator's creativity definitely pays off with customers.

"Not only do customers see that they can try and win that big-ticket item, they can also win all of the accessories that go with it," he added.

Information about Dunk Tank Prize and other Namco America arcade equipment may be found on the company's website or requested from a member of the NAI sales team: Tom Siemieniec, national sales manager, at (847) 264-5622; account representative Jeff Evangelista at (847) 264-5626, or sales coordinator Anita Friedl at (847) 264-5625.
