PRINCETON, NJ -- Heartland Payment Systems, one of the nation's largest payments processors, has hired Ian Drysdale as president of its network solutions division. He will be responsible for Heartland's growth in the retail, petroleum and e-commerce markets.
Prior to joining Heartland, Drysdale spent five years at WorldPay, most recently serving as senior vice-president of product and industry relations. Prior to that, he held several executive positions of increasing responsibility during 12 years with First Data Corp.
"[Drysdale's] track record of recognizing and exploiting revenue-generating opportunities based on customer needs, industry trends and competitive positioning will help ensure Heartland's future success as one of the country's leading payments processors," said Heartland chairman and chief executive Robert Carr.
