BLOOMINGTON, MN -- Almost 100 industry members filled the offices of Lieberman Cos. here for the distributorship's 33rd annual Vending Food and Equipment Show during the second week in May. Exhibits staffed by 24 manufacturer and supplier companies showcased the latest equipment and vendible food, snack and beverage products.
A number of exhibiting manufacturers offered exclusive show specials on their products, and an informative seminar on bill recycling and cashless systems was conducted by MEI's Tom Westerman. Showgoers had the opportunity to win attractive prizes given away at random drawings throughout the event; these included a microwave oven, a tool kit and gift cards, among other items.
"The vending industry is constantly changing, so it was great to see enthusiasm about new technology such as touchscreens and cashless payment systems," said Lieberman vending sales supervisor Kurk Johnson.
The Lieberman Cos.' vending show is one of the nation's largest vending distributor events. The fourth-generation family-run firm represents major vending, music, amusement and ATM lines. A one-stop shop, Lieberman provides service and financing to complement new and used equipment sales.
