WIXOM, MI -- VendTek Wholesale Equipment Inc. marked the grand opening of its new and larger headquarters here last month with a celebratory open house.
The event attracted more than 100 vending industry members who toured the equipment distributor's state-of-the-art 15,000-sq.ft. sales and service center.
VendTek's spacious showroom put the latest industry-leading equipment in the spotlight. Drawing attention were new machines in Crane Merchandising Systems' Automatic Products, Dixie-Narco and GPL lines, along with the latest from SandenVendo America, Seaga Manufacturing Inc. and All State Manufacturing Co.
Also on display were MEI's Conlux and Crane's Currenza payment systems and Cantaloupe Systems and USA Technologies' wireless telemetry and cashless payment technologies.
Showgoers also toured the company's new 8,000-sq.ft. warehouse space devoted to its cash-and-carry product division, along with its equipment service center and parts department.
Established in 1989, Vendtek is a factory-authorized distributor and service center for several major vending machine manufacturers. It supports new and used equipment sales with parts and maintenance. The company's full-line division, Satellite Vending, was founded in 1961 and services businesses, universities and institutions throughout southeast Michigan.
