LENEXA, KS -- U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) toured Treat America's facility here on June 4, hosted by second-generation operator and company president John Mitchell Jr.

Treat America provides full-line vending and office coffee service in Kansas City, St. Louis, MO; Indianapolis, IN; Omaha, NE; and Des Moines.

"It's always good to visit thriving Kansas businesses like Treat America Food Services and learn more about their operations," Sen. Moran said. "Established 20 years ago with only eight employees, Treat America now boasts 1,200 and leads the food services industry in developing innovative technologies focused on consumer demand and healthy options."

During the tour, the senator and Mitchell also discussed issues affecting the industry and how the National Automatic Merchandising Association is working to address them.
