CHARLOTTE, NC -- Lance Inc. and Snyder's of Hanover Inc. (Hanover, PA) announced they have received clearance from the Federal Trade Commission for their previously announced proposed merger. See story.
The merger is expected to conclude in the fourth quarter of this year, still subject to approval by Lance and Snyder's stockholders and other customary closing conditions.
The combined company, Snyder's-Lance Inc., will market a well-established portfolio of snack food brands through a national distribution footprint, including one of the largest direct store delivery networks in the United States.
