TULWILA, WA -- Avanti Markets is giving its self-checkout micromarkets a new identity under the Smart-N-Go label.
The new brand is now available on the company's self-checkout kiosks, point-of-sale signage and marketing materials. Avanti's backend software remains the same, and the Avanti-branded system is still available.
Avanti says it has more than 550 self-checkout retail installations in operation nationwide. Avanti chief executive Jim Brinton was one of several micromarket experts to describe the opportunity in the December issue of Vending Times.
