CLEVELAND -- Vendors Exchange International Inc. will celebrate its 50th year of serving the vending industry on Sept. 24 with an open house at its Cleveland headquarters.
Doors open at 1 p.m. for a trade show that runs until 7 p.m. Industry suppliers will showcase their latest products and offer show specials. VEII will display its MIND nutrition screen, Revision door, LED lighting kits and Universal Control Board, and demonstrate how to wrap a machine with new graphics.
Hourly tours of the VEII facility begin at 1:30 p.m. At 2 p.m., Mike Kasavana, NAMA-endowed professor of hospitality business at Michigan State University, will share his insights on the impact technology is making on the vending industry and resulting opportunities.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day, and food and beverages will served by Bubba's Q Bar-B-Q, a local favorite.
Founded in 1960, Vendors Exchange is a leading equipment distributor and remanufacturer. It began by selling reconditioned vending machines, and expanded into distributing new and used vending equipment and supplying the industry with OEM and replacement parts and upgrade kits, along with a wide variety of tools, accessories and components.
